Logical consistency of pro-life with exceptions.
I’ll preface this by saying I’m pro choice.
Anti-abortion advocates insist that abortion is killing/murder. Yet, they are now saying they are fine with abortion if the pregnancy is the result of a rape or incest.
Why would you murder a "child" for the sins of the father? You want to pick and choose your murder victims, do you? Some fetuses ok to abort and others are somehow more worthy of life?
Why would the following scenarios have any difference?
Woman A - Raped at a party and pregnant
Woman B - casual sex and got pregnant
Woman C - Raped by uncle repeatedly and eventually pregnant.
Woman D - never wanted a baby always used protection, protection failed and got pregnant.
The only pro-life position that makes sense and is logically consistent is “no abortion, NO exceptions.”, since the manner in which the embryo was conceived does not affect the embryo in any way.
