Sudden Anxiety. Will appreciate your advice.
I've been living a hectic lifestyle for a while now. It can be stressful but I enjoy it mostly. This monday, after a quick and relaxing vacation I came back to my hectic routine and during a shift at work I was washed by a wave of anxiety. This is not an attack as its lasted a few days and made me panic and feeling as if I've developed a problem that will not go away and will hold me back. I saw my doctor and he gave me some relaxing meds for 3 days and said I should be ok after that- that its just a wave that I got carried on and that I can go back to being myself. I'd like very hard to believe him and I do trust him but would like to hear from other people who have been in a similiar situation.
I'd like to emphasize- I've had a small amount of panic attacks in my life. This is not it.
Have you ever had an anxiety Episode? something that lasted only for a few days? I just want to know that I really can overcome this and not get sucked into this loop of constant anxiety and pills. I understand its an option and will go to a psychiatrist if things don't work out of course.
Thanks guys.
