Should I take this internship for the summer?

Current senior (soon to be HS graduate) here,

I just got an internship offer at the Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory, specifically this one. It does seem like a really cool opportunity, but if I take it, that means I'll have to spend (8 weeks out of) the summer away from the rest of my family since I'll have to live in Princeton for the summer. Senior summer is the last summer I'll have to just do nothing and spend time with family, but on the other hand I don't know if I would be okay with passing up an opportunity like this. What do you guys think?
