Aladdin (1992) has 3 incomplete CGI frames during the escape from the "Cave of Wonders". Seem like a rendering error/mistake that at the time couldn't be fixed in a timely manner.

I posted this 20 minutes ago and then realized it would be way better as a video. Also you can see it's 3 frames and not 2 like my original submission. After 10 minutes and few upvotes I realized how bad reddit video is still is, rehosted on imgur, and posted for the 3rd and final time.

It works though because it looks like a change in the lighting where the light source gets blocked for a frame. Impressive that you spotted it.

so does the first jurassic park. in the final scene, the velociraptor literally disappears from the Trex's mouth for a couple of frames.

Saw that video like 2 days ago, I think it might've sharpened my senses regarding early CGI scenes. Though I always had eyes for such tiny details.

Any chance of you or OP posting a gif of this?

How'd you ever notice that, originally?

Watching it right now for the first time (with original dub, used to watch it as little kid in my native language). It's quite noticeable, caught it right away. See for yourself. like 3 blinks in the middle of the escape:

I watched it two days ago and didn't notice it, even in your video it looks like the lava flickering light against the walls.

Just looks like shadows to me with how fast it happens

I'll have to assume you're a console player. I see in 120fps my dude.
