HOCD & Relationships

I was just curious, those with HOCD how does it impact your relationship with your SO? Like how common are the thoughts and how do you deal with them?

I've had this theme for ages and I've basically ended up avoiding relationships for years because of it. Which obviously isn't healthy, and it's something I need to tackle, but I'm just so scared. I was just curious to here other people's experiences.
