month 5, or the B team, the hotel, work ethic, family ties, wild woman and muffalo stampede

as i looked upon my... well not exactly flourishing colony, and to my steadily increasing herd of animals i realised that a majority of their names begin with B. i had bought a grizzly bear, naming it bently, and with my boars and boomalopes i had ended up naming the boomalopes bass and bart, i decided to form the B team, a squad of animals who will be feared throughout loss (my seed i'm guessing is the planet's name) of course i won't be including boomalopes into the fighting team because chemfuel and boom, but i will only be using animals whose names start with B in my animal super squad.

this month also, i realised i had taken in a lot of refugees, for one reason or another, perhaps i was feeling guilty about capturing all my colonists, or the death of half of my colony may still be weighing heavily on my mind, regardless a lot of people came and went, mostly random people from crash pods, though one of them happened to be J's father. at one point canga's sister came to us for help, but we just couldn't take another raid after the 2 hour apart raids earlier. thankfully she survived though as canga didn't get the "sister missing" mood debuff.

a new wild person wandered in towards the end of the month (stats below) the stat here that excited me the most was her construction skill, her intellectual, and crafting skill, while they will help in a pinch i was more intererested in the construction. she retaliated once when canga failed to tame her, and after being rescued and treated she wandered off again. soon after i was able to catch lacey, my linx just as she was beginning to hunt her so she was only hit once, but eventually i was able to tame her, having recently finally fully healed she's getting to work.

last but not least by any margin a few hours before my last screenshot it happened. a herd of muffalos turned on canga as she was hunting them, of course i can never bring across how i was feeling as it was happening, all i can really say is that i used my tough (tm) J to keep them busy at a choke point, which is why he's so hurt, after sustaining 15 injuries knocking his health down to 40% approximately they were all dead or downed. thank god for the marine armour i got from those tough people in the escape pods. once more that you so much for reading, and i look forward to making the next one!
