Issues with google-drive-ocamlfuse
So, essentially, I have an unlimited google drive account courtesy of my school, and I'd like to use for proxmox backups.
Currently, I have the google drive mounted via https://github.com/astrada/google-drive-ocamlfuse into `/root/gdrive_mount`, however I've experienced some issues with this, primarily that it seems to have a pretty bad memory leak and I've seen it get up to 30GB of RAM. Secondly, it's cache seems to balloon and take up hundreds of GBs, and thirdly it seems to be really slow (in terms of latency, once it gets going it can reach pretty good speed), so slow that Proxmox won't even restore the backup, it just times out, I have to `cp` the file from the directory into local storage to restore it.
Is there an alternative to google-drive-ocamlfuse? Or are these issues known and is there a fix? Just looking for some general advice on this.

Besides the fact that heavy IO not working to great via Internet dependent mounts a better solution would be to use Rclone as it does a better job at keeping things together I don't know how well it would do with restore directly but it will be much better ram wise for sure
Thank you!
I've got some time to look into this now, and I'm currently setting it all up. Seems to have better performance at least, so thanks kind stranger.
Hey thanks for updating to let me know how it went I'm very glad I could be of help if you have any other questions I'll try and be of assistance.
