Tones

There are now tones, but the tones are for whether you are being sarcastic or not.

  • High Tone means sarcastic
  • Normal Tone means not sarcastic
  • Low Tone is a glitch in the conlang and it will be fixed in the 11th update. It is a glitch in the system, and the developers are still trying to remove it. We will fix it soon. Sorry for the inconvenience.

There also: rising tone (from normal to high), falling tone (high to normal)

/s/ when fulfilling the purpose of noun ending is written as a dot (-os <o.> and -us<u.>)

adjective particle is written as <shishusher^(4)eo.>

When /ə̃/ is used as a particle, it must always be written as capital digraph <ÊÊ>. It always comes after the words it modifies.

Note Block Phonology

There are 25 note block pitches, and most are marked for a sound, while others are "modifiers".
For the numbers I am using, you can find them here: https://minecraft.gamepedia.com/Note_Block
Okay, for the sounds (sorry for bad formatting)
p - 0
t - 1
q - 2
7 - 3
th - 4
c - 5
f - 6
s - 7
sh - 8
k - 9
m - 10
n - 11
w - 12
l - 13
j - 14
bh - 15
r - 16
rh - 17
qh - 2 9 (digraph, doesn't include ejective modifier)
But what about the other sounds?
Well, about the modifiers earlier, here they are:
Voice Modifier: 18 (for b d dh j zh g)
Ejective Modifier: 19 (for p' t' q' c')
Labialized Modifier: 12 (aka w sound) for (qxv, cv, shv, kv)
Pharyngealised Modifier: 20 (for qx, kx)
Nasalized Modifier: 21 (for û, î)
Modifiers can stack, for example, gxv would be 9 20 12.
Tones:
22: Normal
23: High
24: Rising
25: Falling
These appear at the end of every sentence and preposition. The low tone is already removed because the developers for this version know what they are doing (and wanted good press points)
In order to write vowels, you use the instrument, and it comes after the consonant before it. The other sounds in the syllable are with the Harp/Piano. THIS DOES NOT WORK IN CONSOLE/MOBILE EDITIONS SO IT IS AN ABJAD IN THAT VERSION.
none - Harp/Piano
i - Double Bass (wood)
u - Snare Drum (sand, gravel)
e - Clicks (glass)
ê - Bass Drum (stone)
ô - Bell (gold)
ë - Flute (clay)
o - Guitar (wool)
a - Xylophone (bone block)
I have counted these as consonants, so they are written with Harp/Piano and the consonant pitch
l - 13
r - 16

Syllable Structure and Phonological Rules

(C)V(S)(L)(F)(P)

C - consonant; V - vowel; S - y, î, w, û (causing diphthongs?); L - l, r, m, n; F - fricatives; P - plosives, affricates

Nasal harmony: Nasality spreads after a nasal vowel/consonant to all parts of a word until it reaches a plosive or an affricate.

Just as the nasal vowels trigger nasal harmony, the trills /ʙ͡r͜ʀ r ʀ/ trigger "trill/tap harmony" where some succeeding consonants are tappized. /m n p b t d q l ʃ ʒ tʃ dʒ/ > [ⱱ̃ ɾ̃ ⱱ̥ ⱱ ɾ̥ ɾ ʀ̥ ɺ ɽ̥ ɽ tɽ̥ dɽ]

Morphology

Analytical language (complete ergative-accusative alignment) (isolating polysynthetic morphology) (quirky subject) (this could be possible with particles. please explain the concept better if you agree with this)

Word Order: SVO

Definite Article

Any word containing /ð/ functions as the definite article.

Nouns

Nouns can only end in: -a, -ɔs, -us, -um. there's no grammatical meaning to the endings. To create nouns one of this endings must be applied to the root, without the endings the word is nonsense.

Rules for determining the noun endings, if the penultimate syllable ends in a consonant:

  • If the penultimate syllable (including the ending) has /i/ or /u/, it has to end with -us;
  • If the penultimate syllable has /ẽ/, /õ/ or /ɔ/, it has to end with -ɔs;
  • If the penultimate syllable has /ə̃/, it has to end with -um;
  • If the penultimate syllable has /a/ or any other vowels that may later be added (ɞ̃ ɤ), it has to end with -a.
  • If the penultimate syllable ends with a vowel, then the endings can be attached or just reduced. Example: pa-, pə̃-, pẽ-, po-, põ-, pi-, pu- becomes: pa, pə̃um, pẽos, pos, põos, pius, pus

Noun Cases

A massive array of locatives (something like Tsez), and maybe case expressed through clitics (plz if you agree with this idea give some examples or develop it)

  • Erectosuperessive: χˤɤʀ = on top of (standing)
  • Cubantosuperessive: siʀ = on top of (laying)
  • Quaerendative: tʃɔχ = you think or know it is somewhere around or in ... but you can't see it
  • Inessive: inmi = in
  • Volative: aʀfɞ̃ = somewhere in the air without touching anything else
  • Fossative: rant' = burrrrried in the ground
  • Subessive: ɔnt = under
  • Superaquative: siʀwa = on water
  • Subaquative: ɔntwa = in/under water
  • Extrative: qχ'uʔẽ = out (if used with the word: disfɔ = nature, it means outside)
  • Sinistrive: lẽft' = left of (there is no word for next to, so you have to specify if it's left or right of ...)
  • Dextrative: ʀuχʷt = right of (there is no word for next to, so you have to specify if it's left or right of ...)
  • Dextravolative: fɞ̃n = to the upper right of; also used as the causative case when used specifically on a verb or adverb
  • Subinvolative: õtaʁ = under (causing it to do something unintended)

wer7 /wẽr?/ = it’s basically everywhere: you can’t tell where it is. it is just everywhere around you (used for words like: qas (air), bẽst’ (god, I), ə̃talfp (dead))

7elp' /ʔẽlp'/ = standing or sitting so close to someone/something that it is awkward, there is sexual tension or it looks weird (first two meanings used for persons and animals the third for objects)

terhf /tẽʀf/ = you don’t care where the fuck it is. You just hope you never see it again and it will: burn in hell, die, get destroyed, break or whatever bad fucking thing can happen to a person or thing.

kva[…]rant' /χʷa[…]rant'/ = the ground that [pronoun] is standing on

The (anti)accusative case marks all the nouns of the sentences with the exception of the object noun: zhvl /ʒʷl̩/ (it's like a QUIRKY SUBJECT!!!!!!)

lô /lɞ̃/ = genitive

Intransitive case to complete the tripartite alignment: tunq'

A vocative case, but it can only be used on verbs and adverbs.

Examples:

shishushere^(4)os bhiniu. besto. Qhuqalu zhvl gvet aûarstaûarsta sirh EÊ shishushere^(4)os kowlfto. EÊ shvultu. zhvl**, uwu qxv'ônst fôn shishushere**^(4)os kowlft shvultu. lô zhvl perq'perq'o. zhvl timptimpu. aûartsonto. lô;

ADJ ticket(=alien) god Qhuqalu ANTACC take PERF(root: tewg) bee.PL CUB NEG ADJ black.container(=realis) NEG wide.area ANTACC, and have CAUS ADJ black.container GEN ANTACC(partikelaufnahme) adult.PL ANTACC power.PL honey (undefined derivation of bee) GEN.

The Alien God Qhuqalul abducted all the bees from the irrealis plain to give the power of honey to the realis plain creatures.

Partikel-aufnahme: a process by which a related noun phrase (e.g. indicating possession) takes on the case of the main noun in addition to the case indicating the relation (e. g. Genitive). a better explanation: Suffixaufnahme.

Noun Specificity

Specificity marked by any word that has an <s> in it.

sa fulfils the function of "er" in English when it's used on a verb (agent nouns)

Reduplication (use both concepts or just one?)

Should be used to indicate the size, plurality or intensity of a noun, and it is up to context to indicate what you mean. Also there are three degrees of reduplication.

Wa means "fire", so wawa can mean either "slightly big fire", "two fires", or "slightly hot fire."Wawawa, of course means "medium fire", "three fires", or "slightly hotter fire."Wawawawa is as many reduplications as possible, meaning "large fire", "four fires", or "intense fire."

Another thing that could be added is the concept of inherent unit. Qxvôa means "water", and the inherent unit for the word "water" is "drop". then qxvôa means "one drop", qxvôqxvôa means "two drops", qxvôqxvôqxvôa means "three drops", etc.

you can use classifiers to change the unit to bigger quantities to have words such as "waterfall", "rain", "river" as any other word associated with "water".

For making a plural, it is used full reduplication. For making half, it is used partial reduplication in the last syllable of the word.

Examples:

oblto. - (bar of) chocolate

obltlto. - a half of a bar of chocolate

obltltlto. - a third of a bar of chocolate

Adjectives (what should the corrupted pronunciation of the adjective particle be?)

Adjectives are created by prepending [ʃiʃuʃẽr̃ẽr̃ẽr̃ẽr̃ẽõs̃] to an unrelated noun.

Examples: blue = [ʃiʃuʃẽr̃ẽr̃ẽr̃ẽr̃ẽõs̃] + "cabbage"

spherical = [ʃiʃuʃẽr̃ẽr̃ẽr̃ẽr̃ẽõs̃] + "curtain"

Corrupted adjectives, that instead of ending with the normal ending, end with a mispronunciation, and by making it corrupted the adjective has a completely unrelated meaning to both the uncorrupted adjective particle, and the root noun. The corruption of the particle happens by assimilation with the first consonant of the noun described. Examples: /ʃisuʃẽr̃ẽr̃ə̃r̃ẽr̃ẽõʃtalfa/ "south" and /ʃiʃuʃẽr̃ẽr̃ẽr̃õzqa/ "orange".

Comparison

shishusher^(4)eo. - Positive adj.

shishusher^(3)eo. - Equative as adj.

shishusher^(2) eo. - Comparative more adj.

shishushereo. - Superlative most adj.

Pronouns

PronounsSingularPlural
1.best'(pml.) êzhv(ml.) 7v(pej.)lëlp (excl.)
1. incl.rholsh(tsg.) torhôcv(vpl.)gxvif(tsg.) tpiûf(vpl.)
2.urhd(no.) ubht(nno.)karhp'(no.) gôrb(no.)
3.7i(sal.) shi(obv.)jic(am.) cij(inim.)

pml.: putomelioral (think of yourself better)
ml.: melioral (be better hierarchically, i.e. higher-born, much older, higher score in Tetris)
pej.: pejoral (be worse, hence the minimal sound)
excl.: exclusive (me and someone that's not you) (actually exists)
incl.: inclusive (me and you) (actually exists)
tsg.: tusingular (and a singular you)
vpl.: vosplural (and a plural you)
no.: nosal (no. speaker)
nno.: non-nosal (not no. speaker)
sal.: salient (near, more important) (actually exists)
obv.: obviative (away) (actually exists)
am.: amical (friends)
inim.: inimical (enemies)

To use distinctions not present in the wanted number, try reduplication, in the wanted person, just use the equivalent distinction (because all of them basically consist of good-bad) or maybe compounding

all personal pronouns underlie the case system just like nouns: zhvl for non-objects, locatives for position in relation to a person, Partikelaufnahme

in combination with possessive particle: possessive pronoun

honorific particle for names, pronouns, whatever: nowz

Possessives and Possession

You need to specify how you obtained it (you stole it, got it, bought it, found it (also specify where), chopped it (for trees and such), you made someone else do one of the things above for you. Etc.

tɤjatʃʷ' -> A godlike person, a spirit or the world gave it to you (also used for when a pizza delivery man brings you a pizza)

-You made it out of something else you owned (you, of course, also have to specify how you got the thing you made it out of)

-You borrowed it

-You steal-borrowed it (without asking)

-You exchanged it with something else

-You took it from someone (you think it is allowed)

- It was a special gift

- Someone threw or shot it at you so now it's yours

- You confiscated it because you felt like the person deserved it

Examples:

pitsa zhvl têyacv' cok: "the pizza [which was brought by the delivery boy] is here (but I can only see the pizza box)"

Verbs

- the perfective of each verb is the verb but backwards

- future participle (an action that you will do for certain, but it hasn't happened yet)

- past tense: it used to be true but it isn't anymore, and it is marked with a rising tone

- nonpast tense: it used to be false but isn't anymore, and it is marked with a falling tone

Negation

Particle os negation: ə̃. Also used to turn a root in its antonym.

Adverbs

They should be made by appending something to an unrelated adjective.

Syntax

Every formal statement must begin and end with kiluku. /χiluχus/. Due to the formality, each word from that statement has the exact opposite of what it means when being informal. While in informality you don't use that word, but if you use it, people will think that you are superior to them and they will call the police and you'll be sentenced to prison forever.

Examples:

kiluku. [we (us+you all) should kill all adults] kiluku.

translation: you (foreign speakers) shouldn't give birth to any children.

Conjunctions

They have to go at the beginning of the clause.
