The smears from the corporate media are getting far more desperate. Yellow journalists are exposing their propagandist roots...
In order to know where you're going, you have to know where you've been.
The smears against Tulsi and Bernie are not new. Nor is the smears against Niko and progressive supporters.
Matt Taibbi has posted a lot about what's going on, but let's not forget the past...
The most dangerous people in the world tend to be progressives and it's amazing that Tulsi, Bernie, Niko, and Jimmy Dore continue to get a LOT of smear tactics.
Instead of focusing on their ideas, it's about attacking them personally.
The ideas are that we get out of wars, end the Military industrial complex, get healthcare, get college, and get everyone a living wage.
The corporate media is going all out against everyone against them and they've picked targets. For CNN, it's Jimmy Dore and Rhania Khalek.
For HuffPost, it's Niko House and other anti-war activists.
For Politico, it's Bernie Sanders.
While this isn't set in stone, it certainly gets into the heart of the matter. These outlets make Big Buck$ off the military industrial complex. CNN would not bully Rhania Khalek unless it threatened them.
CNN wouldn't attack a comedian for doing the news better than they can.
Right wing hacks wouldn't attack this sub for being a growing sub for anti-imperial activism.
The entire establishment wouldn't be attacking people unless it's desperate and smears and name calling is all it's got left when its ideas are dead.
The more popular the progressive candidate, the more popular it will be to smear them. Ilhan Omar has experienced this for her accurate critiques of imperialism. Rashida Tlaib gets it for very similar views.
In those smears, you see the real threats to the entire empire that's made up on lies. Because the truth is far more damning than the lies being told about an empire with 900 bases.
This is what being anti-war and anti-imperialist truly means. Fighting over a river of lies for an ocean of truth. And the corporate tools within the corporate media, are beginning to see that their lies can't hold a candle to truth-tellers within the party and outside who stick to progressive ideals.
