Anytime I hear people (podcasters, minor comedians) complain about reddit, they think it's full of "incel alt-right basement dwelling trolls". Sure, there are pockets of that.
But go to r/all and it's faggots.. faggots everywhere... with the same tired, lame jokes and MO's. They'll ball wash everyone who defends a female but upvote the shit out of "sigh.. unzips". I'm really starting to hate this place. If you didn't have to monitor Discord constantly for new stuff, I'd leave.

I knew what this place was before I started using it for the sub. I think a lot of people here just fell into it and had to find out the hard way, which can be good. It can help them think for themselves that most of this site is a good reflection of what is gay and wrong with the internet and people.

The ban notice says they were banned for:
"creating or repurposing a sub to reconstitute or serve the same objective as a previously banned or quarantined subreddit."
So as long as Reddit is the platform all the subs will go eventually.

It happened within minutes of each other, I saw a thread on scorch about how the XYZ one was deleted and when I clicked the post it was gone. I would be very surprised if this place isn't next since someone is trying to get rid of the community itself no matter what name it's under, and even if the sub is fucking private.

the old (original) sub was coasting on antifa-fuel. for the past two years or so the edgy humor always swerved back to anti-Cumia sentiments and, in effect, organized group deplatforming of racists.*
the new subs didn't do this. (citation: I was mod on the first replacement, r/opienanthony for about two weeks and saw all moderator actions.) they really let everything fly except things that seemed like blatant admin-ban worthy stuff. which is what most people want, right?
the byproduct of that is a lot of race humor (ape nia, michaelrichardsbot, streetshitter, etc) and general openness towards things that, while not specifically ban worthy, could fall under Failure to Adhere to "Community Guidelines" if the right admin decided to make it their project. if it's not center-left to ultra-left, like r/chapotraphouse which has been given passes for doxing and calls for violence for years, when you employ that weaponized humor and harassment it better fall in their category of what is permitted (again, see r/chapotraphouse for an example) if you want to be given a pass
*in effect it was acting out the same policies as r/chapotraphouse, so it's reasonable to believe that's why it was allowed to exist as long as it did and why the replacements, comparatively tame in their organized harassment but without the intense and explicit anti-Cumia approach, didn't last so long
