The not-so-diamond authority

While we all know that Rose/Pink is gone, Steven is still held at least by the other Diamonds to be a Diamond, so should Steven use his powers and rank to dispel and revoke any and all compulsions and orders that the Crystal Gems might still be living under?

We've learned that Garnet was compelled to never question their existence, and so were literally unable to do so, the same with Pearl, she was ordered to never speak of certain things and was unable to ever do so.

It remains to be seen if any such compulsions currently lie upon poor Amethyst, or Bismuth.
