Worst Company Ever for Customer Service
Hi, I wish there is a negative star rating for this company. We took an Annual Lift Maintenance rolling contract with Express Elevators from June 2016 to June 2017. Including 4 visits/yr. In mid 2017 KONE took Express Elevators. We received a letter saying everything will continue as normal and no action is required. This did not happened. For June 16-jun 17 period only 3 visits were done. And for June 17-june 18 period NO visits were done. In total we paid £3,120 incl VAT for 2 yr. worth of services. When we raised the issue, KONE offered only £150 refund for missed visits. Do not understand how they calculated. 3 visits out of 4 were carried out for june16-june17 period and none in 17/18 period. Last visit was on 19 Jan 2017.
We started contacting KONE for explanation to no avail. They bounce our emails from one team to another.
To add further misery, KONE sent another demand to us for 2019/20. We emailed to advise we have cancelled the contract and they sent us a Debt collection letter threatening legal action.
Wow! Great job KONE. I wonder how this company is ripping off a customer and getting away with it. The customer service is appalling. They provide one email address for everything related to your account and only one phone number to take care of all queries. If you go on KONE website, they boast to provide servicing to large companies but what I have experienced as being a relatively small firm, I wonder how they are managing those accounts. God help all their other customers! I have again spoke to their (India based) call centre customer service and the agent assured me that our account will be closed and I will receive an email, very much doubt it!
