Is asking for a 2019 Subaru Crosstrek 2.Oi Base Model for 21k a reasonable asking price?

I have been getting a little confused 9n actual MSRP for a subaru CrossTrek. I saw on the manufacturers paper on the car window it said something like 21K MSRP and then all the added package stuff brought it to 24K total...I sat down with a sales guy and he said the MSRP was 24k...and I brought up the 21k MSRP and he acted like I made it up?

I'm trying to get an actual idea for how much a base model Subaru Crosstrek new (2019) is actually worth so I know how to be fair to myself and the sales guy.

Also, I have a 2012 Ford Focus SE in great condition, 88k miles and they offered me 3700 for it and I'm thinking I should ask for more (like 4200$)
