What rod to pair with the Abu Garcia Pro Max casting reel?

I feel like I've been posting often lately so I apologize in advance. Just a beginner trying to not buy crappy gear.

I'm looking at getting the Abu Garcia Pro Max baitcasting reel. I found it for ~$43, but only the reel. What rod would you guys recommend pairing it with? Ideally, I would like a 2pc rod for easy transporting. Nothing that will break the bank. I've been considering the UglyStik GX2 cause everywhere I go I see people raving about it.

I will mainly be doing freshwater fishing (would I be able to use it for saltwater too?) with this set up. Also, what line would you guys recommend putting on it?

Also, what are your thoughts on the Abu Garcia Pro Max? Is it a solid reel to start with and continue using as I become more experienced?

I am considering getting the LH retrieve. I came across a few posts on reddit saying right handed people use LH retrieve.
