Severe Pins and needles in hand.

Hello, I am a hispanic male, 200 pounds, 18 years of age, and today I woke up with a very intense pain in my right hand. It was consistent, no extra surges of pain and no dull moments. Just a thousand needles pushing through my hand at all times. It lasted what felt like 10-15 minutes with no slowing down. Sometimes when I wake up I will get a smaller, less painful version on just my fingertips. I never thought anything of that until now. I'm worried guys, I really don't know what to do.
