Need help with palico dlc

Hi y'all I tried looking around on this sub and online elsewhere but can't seem to find the answer. I'm trying to get the dlc cats for world's strongest, last stand, and fashion sense but don't see the cats in the hire area. O have lvl 60 cat hires and downloaded all dlc. Is there quests I have to do to unlock the cat then hire?
