Using 2016 data
Rate per 100,000 homicide:
USA: 5.31 China: 0.62
Total homicide:
USA: 17,250 China: 8,634
===============
China execution rates are unknown but if you where to combine homicide rates with execution rates then you can use simple math to determine the following:
Assuming that China has a population of 1.386 billion...
Then China would need to execute 8,616 per year in order to match the US total killed.
And China would need to execute an enourmous 64,963 per year in order to simply match the USA kill rate.
In order to be significantly higher than the US kill rate (lets say a modest 50% higher) then China would need to execute a colossal 101,761 people per year
