i7 8700K 1080 ti 550W G3

I'm building a PC for my buddy i7 8700K and 1080 ti and was going to get him a 650W G3 EVGA because in the future he may overclock it but probably nothing crazy. I'm trying to save him the most money, think he will be fine with a 550W?
