New project or new sequence for a Let's Play series?

Hey, guys! I'm sorry if there's an obvious answer to this, but I'm 17 episodes in to a Let's Play series and it's dawned on me that it might be best to just make one project file for the whole series and do separate timelines for the individual episodes. In case it matters, there will likely be around 100 30-minute episodes in total. What are the benefits to doing it one way over the other? I've also asked this question to the r/letsplay community because I'm curious if there's a difference in opinion over there. Thanks in advance for the feedback!
