Autopilot micro-corrections on highways with repairs up the center line

General

I've been noticing that sometimes autopilot is making a lot of micro-corrections on interstate highways and moving around a lot inside my lane, occasionally jarringly. After some figuring out I think it is related to the tar repairs of longitudinal cracks in the asphalt near the center line. Basically they run a black tar strip up the CL of the road which is often right next to the white lines. If I watch the lane markings on the screen I can see the center line wobbling and moving all over the place which coincides with the tar road repair. If the tar goes a foot into the other lane, my car will attempt to follow it as the center line, same with if the tar comes into my lane it will push me more to the shoulder. So when this road repair is present the car will move around in the lane, pretty significantly at times, instead of staying in the center of the late.

Anyone else notice this? I've been watching autopilot performance a bit more after some recent autopilot incidents (trying to take an exit ramp at 75mph, following a bike lane instead of the car lane, and a lot of recent jamming on the brakes in the middle of an interstate). I find that most of these events happen on bright sunny days when the sun is mostly overhead.
