Return to MTG, Noob Progression Road-map?
Hello magicTCG,
First, I'll start with a quick backstory. I just recently started playing MTG again, I haven't played since Lorwyn. I know how to play, but I really never got into it too much.
Now I really want to get into it and really learn how to play the game, create decks and compete. I already started going to Drafts at my LGS and playing Arena.
I was wondering if there's a sort of Road-map or Progression guide to follow to get to the point to play competitively?
Something of the likes of:
- Learn mechanics of MTG
- Learn Mana Curve and Basic Deck Building
- Learn how to identify good cards in Draft
etc...
I also would like to know which path to take. Which formats to play. Standard, Modern and Legacy OR Constructed OR Commander OR just MTGA?
Any input would be greatly appreciated.
