Photos not in chronological order

It's been happening for a while now, but whenever I go to share a picture the discord app will only show my last few pictures and the rest would be in what seems a random order, with usually very old photos coming up first.

Now pictures taken even a day before are not showing up on top, but instead in random locations and I have to search for minutes to find that picture.

I've tried reinstalling the app, and deleting its cache and app data, yet nothing has worked. Is there any way to get the photos back in chronological order of when I saved or took them?
