When does Ward....

Basically I just want to know when Ward ramps up, because while it is interesting so far it doesn't make me want to keep reading after each chapter, I'm at 8. 3 and I'm not really seeing anything on the horizon worth reading for, I'm willing to hear some spoilers if it'll egg me on to read further, because I loved worm but can't find that passion for Ward.
