Thoughts on using Clover as POS for a bait and tackle shop

A client wants a new POS system. Their current POS is on prem with a server we manage. Bank of America has pitched them Clover. In speaking direct with Clover they are telling the client that the maximum number of SKU’s is 15000, but the client is approaching 70000. So my client is asking me for options. I don’t really know much about POS for managing inventory in a retail shop like this. Our other tackle client uses Microsoft Navision which is hugely costly and complicated. Also with a cloud based POS I’m assuming that bandwidth is an issue. This client has a 3MB EoC connection
