Discord using so much RAM

hi, so i have 8gb RAM and Discord is using like some times around over 500mb, is this normal? i'm sure its not...

i tired reinstalling and clearing cache and temp files then fresh install but same thing, Discord is using so much RAM

any thoughts? any ideas?
