Will account transferring ever be possible?

I have sunk over 200 hours into this game, however I am definitely going to switch to PC in the near future and would like to save myself the grind as I have only bought ~5 operators with r6 credits and have 36(?) operators(all the "main" and 16 DLC). I searched up if it is possible to transfer accounts to different platforms and found a very dissapointing no as the only answer. Will it ever be possible? Edit: forgot to mention I play on xbox
