Should I switch my CPU/mobo for the new ryzen cpus?

My friend is building a pc and i'm willing to sell him my Mobo (prime z390-A) and my cpu 9600K because he doesn't want to go ryzen, I'm only using it for gaming but i'm wondering if i should switch to the new AMD Cpu's if i have a little extra money to spend?
