Tips on Applying Eyeliner Wing

I have hooded eyes and unfortunately one is a bit bigger and hooded than the other. I have trouble making my eyeliner wings even and even when it does the side that is more hooded than the other the eyeliner would smudge onto my hood. I want those sharp wings that I see all over social media. Anyone has any tips or advice on how i can do that or make the wings look even without it getting smudged on my hood?
