The simplest of mods for a bumpy boy.

So I thought I'd share the simple mod I did to my quest.

To start with I have a small/medium sized head but due to being skinny and also having a shaved head I have no natural padding whatsoever on my head, I was also an energetic but uncoordinated child (and young adult) resulting in a lot of lumps and bumps on the back of my head from bouncing off trees, stairs and sidewalks too many times.

In short the strap on the quest was not merely uncomfortable but downright painful to wear for any amount of time and would give me a headache after ten to fifteen minutes of use.

My first try was a stocking cap and it helped a bit but not enough, second try was said stocking cap with a strip of neoprene folded into it... Same story, it helped a little but only extended my run up to the splitting headache by about five minutes.

After that I tried strapping a larger folded piece of neoprene directly to the strap and apart from the ties I used to secure it digging into my head after a while I had now extended use time to half an hour before headache ensued.

I took a chance and bought a three pack of neoprene baggage handle wraps off of Amazon for £6 (~$8). They arrived this morning and I just got off of a one hour set of beat saber... no headache.
