How to live with being a trigger

I found out a couple of years ago that I'm a trigger for my husband's ocd and anxiety. More specifically the things he sees as imperfections on my face. How am I supposed to deal with this? We've been married over 13 years now, and I can move on from the feeling of being a hideous trigger knowing it's not him but the ocd talking- until he's triggered again, and then I go down my shame spiral all over again. I'm not an unattractive person, but this isn't a happy or healthy way to live. Does anyone have an experience with this, or helpful thoughts?
