Retainer question

So I got my rook and cartilage pierced recently (cartilage in mid March and rook early April) but was just told that I'll be staffing a air cadet camp the whole summer. The standards regarding piercings are super conservative (only single lobes) and I'm not sure how to conceal them while at the camp. I've been putting band aids on them once a week for practice but I feel like it'd be a nuisance to put them on everyday when I'm there. Am I able to use retainers on piercings that are still healing or should I just stick to bandaiding them?
