Need help concerning Weaver

So, I really interested in weaver and want try it out but lvling ele is such a pain and I see a lot of people say this spec is really bad. So I want to ask you guy some question to help me decide to try this class or not.

1.is sword main hand viable

2.is this spec focus on sustain or burst damage

3.how good is this spec survivability (healing, dodging etc.)

4.you personal opinion about weaver

I will mostly play in pve btw
