Anyone got the skinny on Mooring and/or Seasonal slips on Long Island?

I'm a recent transplant from Toronto to NYC and I'm in search of a 30ish foot sailboat to waste my money on, and ply the waters of LI Sound as we once did Lake Ontario.

I'm having a hard time finding any information about mooring or seasonal slips online - At least very few seem to publish rates.

Can anyone recommend a sailboat friendly Marina anywhere on LI and hopefully provide some insight into seasonal rates/foot?
