What you’ll do :

Located in Rennes, integrated into the Wireless Probing R&D team, you will :

• Provide your Telecom expertise for EPC/Core CS IMS passive probing solution
• Work with PLM, TPOs and development teams to design the best Telecom solution by considering the end to end concerns and impacts
• Be part of a scrum team using Agile methodology
• Provide support to pre-sales during RFP/RFI answer to propose the best optimized solution by running Telecom impacts analysis and exchanging on new Telecom features and customer deployments
• Assist the TPO in the definition of the backlog to adequately address Telecom requirements
• Provide specifications to development teams
• Assist development team in deep Telecom investigation
• Insure that the delivered features match customer requirements from Telecom aspects
• Assist Support L3 to answer to telecom escalation

What we’re looking for :

Technical skills

• Deep knowledge of all the main signaling procedures, protocols and/or parameters/algorithms on a specific part of the network (radio, access, core, applications)
• Bring added value in one or several telecom problematics in the EXFO context through knowledge of 4G/5G network architecture
• In-depth understanding of telecommunications and Data Networking theory (Traffic Theory, OSI Model, etc)
• Masters the analogies between all current network technologies
• Bring a transversal view to take in charge transversal telecom aspects in the products or in services

• Self-starter with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in an innovation and team-oriented environment
• Eager to learn

Must have

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in Telecom
• Fluent in English.
• BS/MS Degree level in Telecom/Computer Science, or equivalent
• Local work permit mandatory
