Keyboard/Mouse failure
Hello; I'm running Budgie Ubuntu on an old i386 laptop. My issue is, that I can boot up, type my password to unencrypt , get to login screen, but can't login. Neither the keyboard or mouse work.
Rebooted and in bios ran self test and got this: Start up Test 100% of the system memory tested OK 2.922, 975, 232 bytes of system memory tested OK Memory test pass
Primary Hard Disk Self Test Quick test 00% Complete Replace Hard Disk 1 SMART check Hard Disk SMART Passed
How do I pass a SMART test, yet need to replace drive? Is that related to input failure?
Thank you
