Subtract 1 from 3

Hello Everyone!

A = 3. B = 1. When subtracting, should the carry flag be set? Mine is. I do get the correct answer of 2 stored in A afterwards. Just researching if this is malfunction or expected. Would imagine it has something to do with twos-complement subtract operation but not sure yet.
