New Community Music Venue at REO Town Marketplace
Hi there,
I represent Loudspace, Inc., a Lansing music nonprofit focused on creating music events and spaces in the Lansing area. Over the past year we have had "Electric Open Mic" events at venues across the city, including Lansing Brewing Company, the Eli Broad Museum, Mac's bar, and The Loft. Our events are basically open mics with a full band setup (drums, amps, guitars, the works) so musicians only need to bring themselves. We have also run youth music programming at the Reach Studio Art Center.
Our new project is working in collaboration with the REO Town Marketplace to build their back room into a community music venue. The Loudspace soundstage will be open for musicians, artists, and organizations in the community to throw their own events through us, and even use all of our equipment! The venue will be in the heart of REO Town and have a 300+ person capacity!
Loudspace is a 501c(3) nonprofit. We are in need of your donations in order to bring the stage to life. Donations of all sizes are awesome, are tax deductible, and will go 100% towards the stage. We are 100% volunteer run. Individuals and businesses/organizations interested in a sponsoring donation of $500 or more (or equivalent in materials, equipment, etc.) will receive permanent recognition on the stage.
Your donations will mean helping to create a community music venue providing great events for years to come in Lansing, we very much appreciate it. Feel free to ask me any questions you may have!
