I need advice. What would you do?

I never really played The Last of Us as I don't have any video game console at all, although I'd really like one. I watched a whole, immerse playthrough somewhere on YouTube and I really fell in love with the story, characters, music and surroundings (meaning the graphics of the places, ofc). Despite the fact that I haven't played the game I would consider myself a TLoU fan, that'd why I'm on this thread.

Now, I have a question to everyone reading this. I need advice, cause I seem not to be able to decide on my own. What would you do?

With The Last of Us: Part II coming out in pretty sure less than a year, I really don't know what to do — to watch a longplay when the game releases or to wait spoiler-free for about 4 years (cause that's the minimum time I can finally get a PlayStation console, I don't really care whether it's gonna be 4 or 5). I don't really think I'll be able to keep myself away from spoilers for almost half a decade, so what would you do in my place, or what do you suggest I do?
