How do you find being in a overly "nice" office environment?

Has anyone ever feel strange and feel like walking on egg shells in a overly "stefords wives", everyones overtly friendly kind of office environment?

I don't know why and was thinking if this is related to ASD and wanting everything direct and feeling more comfortable with more male like type of communication?
