/u/Blounttruth on Where do conservatives view on abolishing the FDA and letting people import drugs from other countries?
Unfortunately, the FDA is nothing more than a drug manufacturing company with lobbying built in. They will not allow any competition at all, and there in lies the problem. We could simply order and have shipped drugs from Mexico or Canada, and many do illegally, but they will do all they can to stop the importation of identical meds from reaching U.S. consumers.
