How do I transition out of the only job I’ve ever worked in?

So I’ve cross-posted this on a few subs because at this point I really need some help with direction.

I’ve been a paralegal for 10 years now and I’m 28. I never got my certificate, nor did I get a college degree. I’ve simply been strategically moving up with experience. I don’t hate my job and I’ve always been extremely talented at it. I’m very detail oriented, organized, have good rapport with my clients and have excelled at all of the firms I’ve worked at. I’ve been with five different firms, beginning with hoa/condo collections legal, moving to litigation; criminal and then more recently, strictly pre lit auto accident files.

The stress that I have had on my shoulders for the past 10 years, though, is really affecting my ability to be happy in all aspects of my life. I want to find something that correlates with the transferable skills I currently have because schooling isn’t my ideal direction right now. I’m not opposed to any type of education, I just don’t want to spend 4+ years in school.

I’ve never been one to be able to answer that question “what do you want to be when you grow up”?

I truly have never known. I used to say a psychologist because I wanted to help people, but the schooling is more than I can bargain for right now. I’d love to work with animals but the pay cut would be too drastic.

Does anyone have any idea of what I could look into? How I can figure out what job is for me? Career path suggestions? Any help would be tremendously appreciated.
