I present to you the Prophiator.

Humor

Just what is it about the Retaliator that makes it as widely adopted as it is? Could it be the compact and highly modular form factor? The abundance of aftermarket components that make it relatively simple to push one to full-on ultra-stock performance levels? Don't be silly - clearly the thing people love about Retaliators the most is the top-slide. Obviously.

The Worker Prophecy meanwhile is essentially a hobby-grade take on the venerable Retaliator, but while it improves on the original in nearly every way, you know what it doesn't have? That's right - a top-slide priming system. Clearly the lack of that component is what's holding the Prophecy back. But not any more!

Behold glorious, glorious perfection.

The Prophiator (or perhaps "Retaliacy") neatly solves the glaring ergonomic oversight in the base Prophecy design, via the timely addition of components that nobody removes from their Retaliators, because why would you ever want to? What even is pump-action - top-primes are where it's at. Obviously.

But seriously though, this is dumb and I do not recommend anyone else actually do this. Why did I do this? Well that would be the result of me sourcing parts for an as yet unfinished build from multiple vendors, which left me with an otherwise functional Prophecy that I couldn't actually operate because the priming method is in the shipment that hasn't arrived yet. So... I slapped on some Retaliator plates so I could test things while I wait for the rest of the bits to show up, since I had those sitting in a bin (the stock is also a stand-in).

It works just well enough that I can put test shots over my chronograph, but it's finicky, uncomfortable, and not quite the proper dimensions for the parts to fit cleanly (which is probably why it's so finicky) - there's a reason I set the flair to "humor" and not "WIP".
