My loving fiance accidentally killed my new grass with weed killer. Now what?
Honest mistake. We just bought a house and I aerated and seeded the whole yard. Was looking nice and new with baby grass, but our side yard had a lot of clover. My fiance threw down some weed killer, which killed the clover... and my new grass with it. It's obvious to see where the weed killer hit since it looks like long lines of bare soil where someone hand tossed from a bag.
What do I do to start anew? If I toss down new seed will the weed killer already in the soil counteract it? Should I re-aerate and overseed, or just... hope and wait that grass sprouts back up?
