Noticeable Weight Loss

I started actively trying to lose weight back in January. I had tried starting in August, when I moved to college, but I just didn't have the motivation at the time and I didn't know how to work out. I started trying again at the start of the Spring semester. I'm not sure when I started losing weight, because I didn't have access to a scale, but in March, I got weighed and realized I was now 172 lbs, not 193 lbs. I was super happy, because I hadn't really realized I'd lost weight. Unfortunately, I'm still stuck at that weight, and to me, I look the same, but yesterday one of my friends told me I definitely looked like I had lost weight and that was a huge victory. I guess I still look negatively at myself, because I see no difference, but it makes me happy that others can notice. Now I just have to break this plateau and loose the last 30 lbs to hit my goal weight.

I went vegetarian in August and never stopped, I also limit my calorie intake to ensure that I have a defecit (I think it's called CICO?) and I exercise at least five times a week. This includes running about a mile or two, and well as using the elliptical and stairclimber, and using the weight machines.
