Suggestions on octave pedal pairings to best simulate bass "growl" on a studio recording

I just traveled to record a number of short pieces for a commercial jingle and found myself in the unenviable position of being without a serviceable bass to use. I've got a Whammy V, and a Boss OC-2, for starters. I've also got a few dirt pedals (Fulltone OCD, Timmy, Russian Muff) a Boss DD-6, a Small Stone, a Holy Grail, a Boss GE-7 and a Boss CE-2.

I'm looking to come close to a bass growl for a few tracks - sans bass. The resident bass here is out of commission, and it's a very long way back home - or to a place where I could borrow a bass.
