Getting a new car loan
So I’m starting to get into a bit of a bind with my current vehicle. It’s a 1997 GMC Savana that I use to run a side business and also as my daily vehicle. It’s got about 190,000 miles on it and it seems to be in the stage of something breaking every other day. Currently been battling some O2 sensors problems but fixed them and it seems like it may be the fuel injector now which could end up costing around 1000 bucks. My wife’s boss is moving and needing to sell her car so she offered it for 2000. I don’t know much about it yet and she’s out of town so right now it’s just a thought. If I get a car like that it would be my main vehicle and I’d still keep the van for business. My wife and I currently have a car loan and have had it for a couple years now and still has about 7000 left. I’m wondering if it would be more beneficial to try and get a new loan and trade in the van for an SUV type vehicle or truck that can run the business and be my daily vehicle or get the car for a couple grand.
