How can I get in contact with overachieving college students?
Long story short, I have mental health issues, am attending community college and just want to be doing all the right things and want to become someone intelligent and well spoken too. I want someone who can share their experiences with me, kinda like a mentor and guide me in the right directions.
I don't really know where to start. Theres so much that I know I'm going to need to do in order to look good for 4 year universities and jobs. Things I'm sure matter are but are not limited to scholarships, jobs, networking with professors and organizations, scholarships, internships, extracurricular activities, hobbies and interests, professionalism which includes speaking skills, vocabulary, mannerisms and attire, learning more about my major and general career path, learning about the world in general like politics and current affairs, taking advantage of on campus and off campus resources like workshops and classes, developing study habits, meeting likeminded individuals, etc.
Edit: I'm an environmental science major
