Why not try to amend the Second Amendment? | Washington Post Opinion Piece
About 2 months ago, I posted a thread on this subreddit asking why the Democratic Party doesn't campaign for the outright repeal of the 2nd amendment. I came across this article that was just posted yesterday.
Looks like I'm not the only one who espouses this view. I read the article and reread my prior post about repealing the 2nd amendment. While I agree it would be very difficult and take the better half of a century to repeal, I do think it could be done if there was a long-term, concerted effort to hammer the point home.
