What does a C-Reactive Protein level of 15.5 mean?

22, female, white, 5'8 and 250lbs in Virginia. No current mediations. I've been working on getting tested for irritable bowel disorder and had a bunch of lab tests done. Everything came back looking pretty normal except my CRP level was marked as high (15.5mg/L). I'm going to see my doctor soon but I want some more context on what exactly that means. The internet is trying to tell me I have cancer or something so I'm trying not to panic.
