Analysis of Fripp's Guitar Style?

Hey there!

Excited to join this group - got tix for the 2019 tour, and have been digging deep(er) into KC, particularly Red, LTIA, and SBB era.

Does anyone have links or articles regarding an analysis of Fripp's guitar playing, specifically his solos?

What I mean is: does anyone know what scales or modes he plays (in standard tuning)? For some reason, I haven't been able to find much of an analysis of his playing. Or can anyone direct me to some of the (I assume) classical or jazz flavors he uses in his playing?

I have some great tab from ET wiki, but it's just tab, not analysis (for example, "here, he changes key to________"). I'd like to know more about what he's doing than just the notes he's playing.
